Artist Monica Jones launched her “White Willow Studio” in Baltimore, West Cork, Ireland in the Summer of 2026 – Surrounded by the ever-changing palette of the Atlantic coast, Irish contemporary artist Monica Jones is embarking on a bold new chapter from her home in Rathmore, just outside the vibrant village of Baltimore, where she is launching White Willow Studio. A dedicated creative space designed not only for her own artistic practice, but to welcome others into the slow, intuitive rhythms of making art from place and presence.

“It’s been a long-held dream,” Monica says. “Now finally the time and place have aligned and I can bring together my experience, my love for this landscape and my passion for teaching into a space that’s open, grounded and alive.”

White Willow Studio opened it’s doors in the summer of 2026 with a series of small-group workshops in July and August, with plans for future artist retreats and open studio events. Whether you’re an experienced painter or someone simply seeking a pause from daily life, the studio offers a welcoming space to reconnect with nature, creativity and yourself.
