“At three years of age, my happy place was sitting on our front step, taking in my surroundings and stories of everyday life on my street. To this day, when I have a need to ground myself I do so by exploring places I have lived in and have been to by creating artwork. My outdoor sketching and oil paintings allow me to adjust and connect to the environment which is surrounding me at that time.”
